Pecha Kucha II

alhamdulillah~all praises to Allah.

Prejudice : To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

yesterday, when my study mood came, quickly i got online and the first thing i searched was types of prejudice.

FYI, most of the lecture and power point slides given are from the internet, mostly from worldteaching.com. and because of that, most of my searching of notes and additional information are also based on powerpoint.

surprisingly, i also found the most precious slides which helped me in doing the 1000 words essay entitled prejudice issue in the novel mentioned in the above.

Pecha Kucha

on wednesday, my group had presented our pecha kucha. fuhh~as we were the last group presenting on that day, our lub-dup were become faster and faster. aiyoyo~hands shivering like a parkinson, and as cold as ice. hehe~too nervous ma..

the most memorable 12 minutes of my life i guess. hehe~

12 minutes. we were not allowed to take more than that limit to present our pecha kucha. but, indeed the last person will go beyond the limit until there is no more slide to show and as usual, mine will be faster. (some said like watching a cartoon film..adeh~)

and it reminds me of the death because Allah said in the al Quran, Chapter 3, Verse 185:

Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.

Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned. (Al quran, Chapter 21, Verse 35)

plus, many other verses mentioned about the death.

and it will came on time:

And for every nation is a [specified] term. So when their time has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]. (Al quran, Chapter 7, Verse 34)

At there will be only two ends.

I
[For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back" (Al Quran Chapter 23, Verse 99)

and

II
And those who believed and did righteous deeds will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein by permission of their Lord; and their greeting therein will be, "Peace!" (Al quran Chapter 14, Verse 23)

We may choose. Its all up to us.

p/s: Mujahadah is bitter as the jannah is SO sweet..=)

BIAS

be professional, please!!

i have no doubt that in ourselves, we tend to be bias in certain thing, on certain people. but, without we realizing, we will hurt other people feelings. and you will hurt the person that you loved most too..sadly. huk3..

Q1: is bias same with prejudice?

p/s 2: i failed to get the second part of the Valley of the Wolves (palestine). huhu~and currently watching Tariq Ramadan's so-called lecture on Islamic Renaissance: Renew and Reform. Thanks zinnirahhumaira' for introducing the video.=)

p/s 3: suddenly our wireless system allowed youtube streaming but in only about 15 minutes and i managed to download 10 videos with IDM (that I cracked at home last Eid. ngeh3~).
